And WHEW!
Mr. Arthur Itis, to be exact. Kate is just getting old. Not getting full of cancer!
We did x-rays. She actually has little bony protrusions on all of her toes. Just something to manage. Anti-inflammatories when it's acting up. Other than that, just let her get on with her life.
Getting old sucks, but much better than the alternative!
I concur, getting old sucks. I turn 50 next year. Blech. But you're right, it's better than the alternative! :)
ReplyDelete'Atta girl Kate!
ReplyDeleteWhat a HUGE relief!!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear it. Yay is correct!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great picture of Kate - her expressions are great. I just got diagnosed today with a mast cell tumor. Getting old does suck.

As someone said earlier - old is better than the alternative . Great news.
ReplyDeleteOlder is better than the alternative. My dog is over 8 year, getting older yet.Recently, my dog just lies in her big dog beds and never moves. I feels worried. While, at least she is in good condition. We enjoy the time together always.

All the stages of life bring us new joys and new pains. I have found that I have gotten closer and more snuggly with my older animals as they just want to spend time with their humans. I hope the anti-inflammatory meds help! I love your blog, thank you! I featured it in my favorites today at http://adorablechi.blogspot.com/2011/11/top-5-doggie-bloggers.html
ReplyDeleteWOW! This is great.
